Austrian championship 2002

During the weekend from the 19th to the 21st of April the 1st International-Austrian Rafting championship had taken place. It was accomplished on the Salza river. 25 teams from different nations were involved. Amongst others Austria, Italy, Germany, Czech Republic and Hungary had been participants.

The competition was distributed within the Austrian „canoe-association“ (OKV). The competition was organised from the sportsclub of Wildalpen / section canoe

The race itself was splitted into two days:

Satturday: Slalom and Head 2 Head
Sunday: Down river race

The results from the international championship:

„RTA- Augsburg“ (D) wins the race for the international championship.

Austrian championship 2003

During the weekend from the 25th to the 27th of April the 2nd International-Austrian Rafting championship had taken place. It closed with an exciting down river race on sunday. The three winners accomplished the 10km long run with only a few seconds time difference.

28 teams from different nations were involved. Amongst others Austria, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary and even Japan had been participants..
On saturday already the competitions Slalom and Head to Head, which were battled on the "campingplatzschwall" atracted very much spectators.
But the absolute highlight was the spectacular Head zo Head finale on saturday. It was arranged after sunset. For this purpose a floodlight construction had to be arranged.
The auxiliary fire brigade of Wildalpen gave the ceremony a solemnly touch by this professional lighting.

The competition is organised from the sportsclub of Wildalpen / section canoe

Austrian championship 2006

Liebe Rafting und Sportfreunde!Heuer findet zum 5 mal die offiziellen Österreichischen Raftingmeisterschaften, im Rahmen des Österreichischen Kanuverbandes OKV auf der Salza/Steiermark statt. Der Sportklub Wildalpen / Sektion Paddeln veranstaltet diesen Event vom 25.-28. Mai 2006 in Wildalpen und lädt alle Rafting und Sportinteressierten dazu herzlich ein. Erstmals wird neben der offiziellen österreichischen Meisterschaft in R4 auch ein R6 Rennen durchgeführt. Beide Bewerbe zählen zum Europacup 2006. Dieses Rennen zählt zum Europacup, der erstmals und in mehreren Ländern ausgetragen wird. Die Boote werden vom Veranstalter zur Verfügung gestellt. Weiter Informationen folgen zeitgerecht. Austrian championship 2007

Dear Rafting and Sportfriends!

This year the official International Austrian Rafting Competition and part of the European Cup will take place on the river Salza in Styria at the weekend of 17.-20. Mai 2007. The event is an official competition of the Austrian Canoe Association OKV (Österreichischer Kanuverband). For the first time we organize beside the R4 championship additional R6 Race. Both competitions are part of the European cup 2007. The championship organisation Sportklub Wildalpen invites all Rafting friends to this event. The raft boots are provided by the organizer. Austrian championship 2005

Heuer finden zum vierten Mal die internationalen Österreichischen Raftingmeisterschaften vom 29. April -1. Mai 2005 auf der Salza in Wildalpen / Steiermark statt. Der Bewerb wird im Rahmen des Österreichischen Kanuverbandes (OKV) ausgetragen. Die Organisation dieser Meisterschaft übernimmt der Sportklub Wildalpen, Sektion Paddeln.Der Bewerb zählt zum Europacup 2005 der im mehreren Europäischen Ländern veranstaltet wird. Die Wildwasserstrecke in Wildalpen wurde erneut, dank der Gemeinde aufwendig umgebaut und zusätzlich Felsen in die Strecke eingebaut, um noch spektakulärere Rennen bieten zu können.
